Paul was born on August 18th, 1806 in Harrison, Kentucky, USA.  Paul's father was Richard W King and his mother was Sarah (Sallie) Kennedy(Canady).  His maternal grandfather is Kennedy. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Richard, Silas, Bartlett, Rachel Minerva, Sarah, Rachel Minerva and Elizabeth "Betsy".  He died at the age of 65 on March 8th, 1872 in Oddville, Harrison, Kentucky, USA.
