Clara was born on March 6th, 1907.  Clara's father was John Jefferson Martin and her mother was Vetta  Victoria Grant (Martin).  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Marion Martin CSA ((CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA)) and Matilda C Warren (Martin); her maternal grandparents are Thomas Benton Grant and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Carl, Roy, John, Thomas, Grace, Ora and Hazel.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 59 on November 5th, 1966.
