John Jeffery

John was born on January 6th, 1827 in Dittisham, Devon. John's father was George Jeffery and his mother was Sarah Finch. His paternal grandparents were Richard Jeffery and Mary Culmn; his maternal grandparents were James Finch and Grace Elliott. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George, Samuel Finch, William, James Finch, John Henry, Sarah, Mary and Mary Grace. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died in Devonport, Devon.
