George Jeffery

George was born in 1812 in Dittisham, Devon. George's father was George Jeffery and his mother was Sarah Finch. His paternal grandparents were Richard Jeffery and Mary Culmn; his maternal grandparents were James Finch and Grace Elliott. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Finch, William, James Finch, John, John Henry, Sarah, Mary and Mary Grace. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 35 on January 11th, 1847 in Dittisham, Devon.
