Matilda Bill

Matilda was born in 1850 in Dudley. Matilda's father was James Harper Bill and her mother was Susannah Poole. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bill and Lucy Harper; her maternal grandparents were John Poole and Hannah. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Walter, John Poole, James Harper, Charles M, Emma, Mary Ann and Lucy. She was the oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Benjamin and William.
