Nancy, known as Nancy, was born in 1836.  Nancy's father was Peter GEARHART and her mother was Katherine KOSTENBAUDER.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob GEARHART and Mary (Polly) FISHER. She had three brothers and a sister, named Daniel, William, John and Sarah. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named James, Charles, Franklin, Mary, Catherine, Christianna, Hannah and Lydia.
