Harold, known as Harold, was born on November 1st, 1916. Harold's father was Clayton Monroe GEARHART and his mother was Leona Grace KLINGER. His paternal grandparents were Franklin GEARHART and Anna M YEAGER; his maternal grandparents were Peter Lloyd KLINGER and Carrie Evelyn FAUSOLD. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ernest, Lloyd, Clair, Arthur, Thelma, Grace and Florence. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He diedAug 18th, 1995. He was buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville, PA.¹

  Harold L. Gearhart, 78, of 120 Middle St., Danville died Friday morning at the Geisinger Medical Center.
  
  Born Nov. 1, 1916 in Upper Augusta Township, he was the son of late Clayton and Leona (Klinger) Gearhart.
  
  He was a self-employed carpenter in the Danville area of over 30 years.
  
  Mr. Gearhart was also an army veteran of World War II and served in the 101st airborne division.
  
  He was preceded in death by his wife, former Anna Bell who died in 1971.
  
  He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Robert (Delores) Madden of Danville, three brothers, Ernest Gearhart of Sunbury, Clair Gearhart of Flourtown, PA., and Arthur Gearhart of Monticello, N.Y.; two sisters, Grace Webb of Radcliff, Ky. and Florence Stephens of Wayne, Mich.; and one grandson.
  
  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the David J. Brady Funeral Home with the pastor Martin Kessler officiating.
  
  Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
  
  Friends may call at the Brady Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
  
  Military rites will be accorded by the Montour County Veteran's Association.
