William, known as William, was born in 1841 in Wilkinson Co, Georgia.  William's father was Allen CANNON and his mother was Racheal RIGSBY.  His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel CANNON and Frances SUMNER. He had a brother and four sisters, named Iverson, Lucretia, Phoebe, Frances and Leah.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died1903.
