Frances, known as Frances, was born in 1829 in Wilkinson Co, Georgia.  Frances' father was Allen CANNON and her mother was Racheal RIGSBY.  Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel CANNON and Frances SUMNER. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Iverson, William, Lucretia, Phoebe and Leah.  She was the third youngest of the six children.
