Elnan Tally

Elnan was born about 1908 in Tennessee.¹ Elnan's father was Samuel Andrew Tally and his mother was Alice Beatrice Lewellen. His paternal grandmother is Carter; his maternal grandparents are Green Lewellen and Elizabeth Lewelen. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Willie W, John E, Luther F, Herbert, Morris, Daniel Bascom, Elizabeth "Lizzy", Lorena and Attie. He is the fourth youngest of the ten children.
