Attie Tally

Attie was born about 1922 in Mississippi.¹ Attie's father was Samuel Andrew Tally and her mother was Alice Beatrice Lewellen. Her paternal grandmother is Carter; her maternal grandparents are Green Lewellen and Elizabeth Lewelen. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Willie W, John E, Luther F, Herbert, Elnan, Morris, Daniel Bascom, Elizabeth "Lizzy" and Lorena. She is the youngest of the ten children.
