Daniel Bascom was born on May 20th, 1913 in Mississippi.1 Daniel Bascom's father was Samuel Andrew Tally and his mother was Alice Beatrice Lewellen. His paternal grandmother is Carter; his maternal grandparents are Green Lewellen and Elizabeth Lewelen. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Willie W, John E, Luther F, Herbert, Elnan, Morris, Elizabeth "Lizzy", Lorena and Attie. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on December 11th, 1969 in Somerville, Fayette, Tennessee, USA. He was buried in Moscow, Fayette County, Tennessee, United States of America.1 1 -
