Robert Dixie Elder
Robert Dixie was born on January 18th, 1870 in Tippah, Mississippi, USA. Robert Dixie's father was Brightwell Rather Elder and his mother was Lucinda Elviney Gammel. His maternal grandparents were Stephen Pate Gammel and Mary Ann Runnels. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William L B, Columbus McNeer, William Harrison Hendricks, James Buchanan, Mary Ann, Sarah Ann, Rosa Alva and Lula Ann. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 47 on June 25th, 1917 in Madison, Tennessee, USA.-
