George Tebbutt

George was born in June 1878 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.¹ George's father was Samuel Godfrey Tebbutt and his mother was Sarah Jane Petty. His maternal grandparents were John Petyt and Margaret Fawcett. He had two brothers named Edward Smalley and William Godfrey. He was the second oldest of the three children.
