Mary Pettyt

Mary was born in 1754 in Sutton, Kildwick, Yorkshire, England. Mary's father was Anthony Pettyt and her mother was Mary Lund. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Pettyt and Mary Sharp. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, Richard, Abraham, Anthony, Joseph, James (Jacob), Hannah, Sarah and Grace. She was the sixth oldest of the ten children.
