Anthony Pettyt

Anthony was born in 1716 in Sutton, Kildwick, Yorkshire, England. Anthony's father was Richard Pettyt and his mother was Mary Sharp. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Pettyt and Jane Craven. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Richard, Jane, Hannah, Mary and Grace. He was the oldest of the seven children.
