Jane Petty

Jane was born in 1751 in Market Weighton, Yorkshire, England. Jane's father was David Petty and her mother was Elizabeth Grainger. Her paternal grandparents were David Petty and Jane Edwards. She had three brothers and four sisters, named David, John, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary and Ellen. She was the oldest of the eight children.
