Ann Petty

Ann was born in 1765 in Shipton By Thorpe, Yorkshire, England. Ann's father was David Petty and her mother was Elizabeth Grainger. Her paternal grandparents were David Petty and Jane Edwards. She had three brothers and four sisters, named David, John, William, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary and Ellen. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.
