Edward Petty

Edward was born in 1815 in Beeston, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Edward's father was Samuel Pettyt and his mother was Mary Anne Bullman. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Pettyt and Anne (Nancy) Benson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, Frederick, Samuel, Alfred Wedgewood, Emma, Eliza, Ann Mary and Caroline. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
