William Newiss

William was born in December 1884 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. William's father was Enoch Newiss and his mother was Mary Simpson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Newiss and Ann Hartley. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas Henry, Charles Edward, Frank, Ernest, Enoch and Esther Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
