Mary Newhouse

Mary was born in 1840 in Aughton, Lancashire, England.¹ Mary's father was John Newhouse and her mother was Betsey (Newhouse). Her paternal grandparents were Edward Newhouse and Ellen (Newhouse). She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Henry, Richard, James, Thomas, William, John, Eleanor, Jane, Grace and Ann. She was the second oldest of the twelve children.
