Mary Holgate

Mary was born in 1893 in Nelson, Yorkshire, England.¹ Mary's father was Christopher Holgate and her mother was Mary Ann Petty. Her maternal grandparents were John Petyt and Margaret Fawcett. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Fred, Arthur, Samuel, Annie, Maud, Edith and Ida. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
