Ida Holgate

Ida was born in 1889 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.¹ Ida's father was Christopher Holgate and her mother was Mary Ann Petty. Her maternal grandparents were John Petyt and Margaret Fawcett. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Fred, Arthur, Samuel, Annie, Maud, Edith and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
