John Argent

John was born in 1881 in Glemsford, Suffolk, England.¹ John's father was James Argent and his mother was Eliza E Smith. His paternal grandparents were George Argent and Emily Mann. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Walter, Willie, Sarah, Aletha, Laura, Emma, Elizabeth, Kate, Mary J and Nellie. He was the seventh oldest of the eleven children.
