Anne Virgin

Anne was born in 1750 in Marston, Moreteyne/ Moretaine, Bedfordshire, England.¹ Anne's father was John Virgin and her mother was Ann Nixon (Virgin). Her paternal grandparents were Robert Virgin and Elizabeth Basset (Virgin); her maternal grandparents were William Nixon and Mary Pettit (Nixon). She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Joseph, Samuel, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
