Wilhelm was born on January 1st, 1863 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  Wilhelm's father was Christian Albrecht Sprecher and his mother was Christina Braun (Sprecher).  His paternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). He had three brothers and a sister, named Christian, Michael, August and Julianna.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Samuel, Anna, Louisa, Carolina, Justina and Anna.  He died at the age of 48 on July 30th, 1911.1 

Wilhelm's family

Wilhelm and Justina were married in a religious & civil ceremony on January 30th, 1884 in Tarutino (Tarutyne), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  They had four sons and three daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Christian, August, Daniel, Samuel, Sophie, Juliana, Marie and ?.
