Anna was born on December 30th, 1852 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  Anna's father was Christian Albrecht Sprecher and her mother was Carolina Fischer (Sprecher).  Her paternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). She had a brother and four sisters, named Samuel, Anna, Louisa, Carolina and Justina.  She was the fifth oldest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Christian, Wilhelm, Michael, August and Julianna.  She died at the age of 25 on February 26th, 1878 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1 

Anna's family

Anna and Johann were married in a religious & civil ceremony on January 7th, 1872.1  They had two sons and three daughters, named August, Johann, Sophia, Sophia and Louise.
