Christian was born about December 27th, 1820 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1   Christian's father was Gottfried Sprecher and his mother was Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). He had two brothers and four sisters, named Fred, Jacob, Anna, Karolina, Anna and Anna.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died on March 16th, 1881 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1 

Christian's first family

Christian and Carolina were married in a religious & civil ceremony on December 27th, 1840 in Tarutino (Tarutyne), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  They had a son and five daughters, named Samuel, Anna, Louisa, Carolina, Justina and Anna.


Christian's second family

Christian and Christina were married in a religious & civil ceremony on August 31st, 1856 in Tarutino (Tarutyne), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  They had four sons and a daughter, named Christian, Wilhelm, Michael, August and Julianna.


Christian's third family

Christian and Wilhelmina were married in a religious & civil ceremony on January 11th, 1880 in Tarutino (Tarutyne), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1
