Cirilo was born on 22-Jul-1926 in Cuevas de Provanco (Segovia). Cirilo's father was Cirilo García (Carrascal) and his mother was Amparo Álvaro (García). His paternal grandparents were Julián García and Santas Carrascal; his maternal grandparents were Tomás Álvaro and Ruperta García. He was the oldest of eight children. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Pedro, Tomás, Julián, José, Valentina, Patricia and Juliana. He had a half-sister named Felicitas. He died, at the age of 64, on 6-Apr-1991 in Segovia.

Cirilo and Carmen were married in a religious ceremony on 27-Feb-1957. They had four sons and four daughters, named Manuel Jesús, Patricia Carmen, Pedro María, Melquisedec, Amparo, José Ignacio, Azucena and Inmaculada.
