Margaret was born in 1345.  Margaret's father was Valdemar IV King of Denmark and her mother was Hedvig of Schlesvig.  Her paternal grandparents were Christoper II King of Denmark and Euphemie of Pomerania. She had four brothers and a sister, named Christopher Duke of Laaland, Ingeborg, Waldemar, Margaret I Queen of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden and Catherine.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 5 in 1350.
