Christopher Duke of Laaland was born in 1344.  Christopher Duke of Laaland's father was Valdemar IV King of Denmark and his mother was Hedvig of Schlesvig.  His paternal grandparents were Christoper II King of Denmark and Euphemie of Pomerania. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ingeborg, Waldemar, Margaret I Queen of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, Margaret and Catherine.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 19 in 1363.
