Petrus was born on March 12th, 1751 in Londerzeel.  Petrus' father is Cornelius Blommaerts and his mother is Elizabeth Van Assche.  His paternal grandfather was Franciscus Blommaerts and his paternal grandmother is Maria Doms. He had four brothers and a sister, named Franciscus, Jan, Josephus, Jan Franciscus and Joanna.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 32 on March 27th, 1783 in Londerzeel.
