Tenny was born on March 16th, 1878.  Tenny's father was Wilhelm (Henry) Carl Trauernicht and his/her mother was Catherine Bersche.  His/her paternal grandparents were Henry Trauernicht and Johanna Knobbe; his/her maternal grandparents were Louis Bersche and Anna Marie Moser. He/she had eight brothers and four sisters, named Wilhelm, Johanne, Pa Heine, Theodore, Louis, Fred, Edward, Elizabeth, Augusta, Anna, Catherine and Marie.  He/she was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  He/she died at the age of 1 on June 20th, 1879.  He/she was buried at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.1 1
