Nora Leota was born on April 6th, 1904 in Glenwood, Mills, Iowa, USA.1 Nora Leota's father was Henry Ferris Straight and her mother was Mary Luella McLain. Her paternal grandparents were Urias E. Straight and Diana Hayes; her maternal grandparents were William Harvey McLain and Lydia Antoinette Whitcomb. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Clifford Ferris, Walter, Horace Arthur, Harry Theodore, Wilford H, Alma, Stella Mae, Violet Diana, Ada Luella, Gladys E. and Lella A. She died at the age of 88 on November 4th, 1992.1 -
