Stephen Furey

Stephen was born on December 18th, 1897 in Galway.  Stephen's father was Thomas Furey and his mother was Sara (Sally) Fahy.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas (Tom) Furey and Anne  Warde; his maternal grandparents were John Fahy and Bridget Broderick. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, James, Martin, Anne, Mary, Margaret and Lizzie.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
