Harry was born on October 21st, 1897 in Fremont Township Isabelle Conuty Michigan.¹ Harry's father was John Butler Gordon and his mother was Ola (Ollie) Antoinette Little. His paternal grandparents were Syrenus Gordon and Lousia Ann Johnson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, Rolland, Lavina and Elise. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Grace. He died at the age of 76 on July 7th, 1974 in Ontario, OR.¹
