William Lewis Hunter 
William was born on August 5th, 1892 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. William's father was Dr Thomas May Hunter and his mother was Emma Porter Ledbetter. His paternal grandparents were Cpt. Exum Lewis Hunter and Gough Ann Bustin; his maternal grandparents were William Pickett Leake Ledbetter and Emma Jane Porter. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the younger of the two children. He died from cancer at the age of 49 on December 1st, 1941 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was buried in Cross Creek Cemetery #3, Fayetteville, NC.-
