Emma Porter Ledbetter

Emma was born on October 26th, 1861 in Rockingham, North Carolina. Emma's father was William Pickett Leake Ledbetter and her mother was Emma Jane Porter. Her paternal grandparents were William Johnson Ledbetter and Martha Wall Leake; her maternal grandparents were George Madison Porter and Elizabeth Covington Crawford. She was an only child. She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 74 on April 16th, 1936 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Her burial was in Cross Creek Cemetery #3, Fayetteville, NC.
