William Gallihue Dalton

William was born on September 2nd, 1768.  William's father was Samuel Dalton Jr and his mother was Charlotte Gallahue.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Sr and Anne; his maternal grandparents were William Gallahue and Ann Kenner. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Nicholas, Samuel, John, Ewell, Ann, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary and Mourning.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 54 in 1822.
