Mourning Kenner Dalton

Mourning was born on February 2nd, 1789.  Mourning's father was Samuel Dalton Jr and her mother was Charlotte Gallahue.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Sr and Anne; her maternal grandparents were William Gallahue and Ann Kenner. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Nicholas, Samuel, John, Ewell, Ann, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the youngest of the ten children.
