Antonio , known as Nenê, was born on June 8th, 1915 in Itararé - São Paulo.1   Nenê's father was Pedro  Pereira de Almeida and his mother was Balbina  (Bina) Ferreira dos Santos.  His paternal grandparents were Joaquim  Pereira de Araújo Camargo and Guilhermina de  Almeida Lara; his maternal grandparents were Tertuliano  dos Santos Silva and Eulália  Ferreira Penteado. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joaquim, Doca, Tertuliano , Darcy, Nelson, Helena , Jesus and Maria.  He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Broncopneumonia, isquemia cerebral, at the age of 91 on December 3rd, 2006 in São Roque-SP.  The funeral took place on December 3rd, 2006 in Cemitério de São Roque-SP.  His body was entombed on December 3rd, 2006 in Cemitério de São Roque -SP.
