Pedro , known as Doca, was born on November 15th, 1923 in Itararé - São Paulo.  Doca's father was Pedro  Pereira de Almeida and his mother was Balbina  (Bina) Ferreira dos Santos.  His paternal grandparents were Joaquim  Pereira de Araújo Camargo and Guilhermina de  Almeida Lara; his maternal grandparents were Tertuliano  dos Santos Silva and Eulália  Ferreira Penteado. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joaquim, Nenê, Tertuliano , Darcy, Nelson, Helena , Jesus and Maria.  He died due to diabetes at the age of 76 on May 8th, 2000 in Capão Bonito - SP.  His body was entombed in Cemitério de Itararé - SP.
