Joaquim was born on September 19th, 1908 in Itararé - São Paulo.  Joaquim's father was Pedro  Pereira de Almeida and his mother was Balbina  (Bina) Ferreira dos Santos.  His paternal grandparents were Joaquim  Pereira de Araújo Camargo and Guilhermina de  Almeida Lara; his maternal grandparents were Tertuliano  dos Santos Silva and Eulália  Ferreira Penteado. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Nenê, Doca, Tertuliano , Darcy, Nelson, Helena , Jesus and Maria.  He died from cancer, Cancer do estômago, at the age of 69 on September 19th, 1977 in Itararé - São Paulo.  His body was entombed in Cemitério de Itararé - SP.
