Chinka was born in 1877 in Radzilow, Lomza Gub., Poland.  Chinka's father was Lazor Czerwinski and her mother was Mariaszka Chaimowna Sawicki.  Her paternal grandparents were Benyamin (Benko) Czerwinski and <Unknown>.  She had three sisters named Rochla, Lea and Chana.  She was the youngest of the four children.
