Mr Joseph Stetson

Joseph was born in June 1639 in Scituate and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1645.¹ Joseph's father was Cornet Robert Stetson and his mother was Mrs Honour Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Mr Thomas Stitson and Mrs Argent Lukesmore; his maternal grandparents were Mr John Tucker and Mrs Urith Dinnis. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, Thomas, Samuel, John, Robert, Timothy, Eunice and Lois. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on May 8th, 1724 in Scituate.¹
