Mr John Stetson

John was born in April 1648 and his baptism took place on May 7th, 1648.¹ John's father was Cornet Robert Stetson and his mother was Mrs Honour Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Mr Thomas Stitson and Mrs Argent Lukesmore; his maternal grandparents were Mr John Tucker and Mrs Urith Dinnis. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Samuel, Robert, Timothy, Eunice and Lois. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died due to Died in Sir William Phipps' unit in the taking of Port Roay, and the attempts upon Quebec. about 1690 in Canada.¹
