Captain Benjamin Stetson

Benjamin was born in August 1641 and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1645.¹ Benjamin's father was Cornet Robert Stetson and his mother was Mrs Honour Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Mr Thomas Stitson and Mrs Argent Lukesmore; his maternal grandparents were Mr John Tucker and Mrs Urith Dinnis. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, John, Robert, Timothy, Eunice and Lois. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on May 4th, 1711.¹
