Mr Josiah Skillings

Josiah was born about 1723 and his baptism took place on March 31st, 1723. Josiah's father was Lt Samuel Skillings Sr and his mother was Mrs Rhoda (Aroda) Haley. His paternal grandparents were Mr John Skillings and Mrs Elizabeth Mary Ingersoll; his maternal grandparents were Mr Andrew Haley Sr and Mrs Deborah Wilson. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Samuel, Mary, Rebecca, Catherine, Dorcas, Elizabeth, Deborah, Joanna and Susanna. He was the youngest of the ten children.
