Fanny was born on December 17th, 1855 in Concord, Merrimack, New Hampshire.  Fanny's father was Moses Sweat and her mother was Fanny Sweat.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Sweat and Mary (Molly) Sweat; her maternal grandparents were John Cummings and Martha Cummings. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, John C., Moses F., Franklin P., Daniel C., William Henry, Mary, Martha C. and Sarah.  She was the eighth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 5 on June 9th, 1861.  She was buried in Abbott Mills Cemetery, Abbott Mills Cemetery, Rumford, Maine.
