Appleton Prentiss

Appleton was born on January 22nd, 1756 in Holliston, Middlesex, Massachusetts.¹ Appleton's father was Joshua Prentiss and his mother is Margaret Prentiss. His paternal grandparents were Henry Prentice and Elizabeth Rand; his maternal grandfather is Nathaniel Appleton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Appleton, Elizabeth and Margaret. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joshua E., Henry, Thomas, Mary and Mary. He died at the age of 2 on June 16th, 1758.²
